Membership enquiry

Membership is open to Igbo people living in Queensland and their spouses and families. If you’re a friend of the community, you’re welcome at our events and we’d love to hear from you too.

Do I need to speak Igbo?

No. Many members, especially younger ones, are still learning. Joining is a great way to practise.

I’ve just moved to Queensland. Can I join?

Yes, and we especially want to hear from new arrivals. Members can often help with practical advice on settling in.

Is there a membership fee?

A committee member will explain current membership dues and how they support our events and welfare work when they contact you.
